Accessibility

A Place For All

Gathering Place is a Park for everyone. It is a Park built to full ADA compliance, where "equal play" is a common denominator for many of our Park elements. The Park is committed to providing a safe and fun space for all Park guests.

Gathering Place has dedicated features to accommodate the Park experience for our guests with disabilities. All Park entrances, pathways and bridges are accessible and there are Ultra ADA pads throughout Gathering Place along pathways, in parking lots and at building entrances. All lawns and gardens have accessible entrances at grade. Miles of paved pathways meander throughout the Park with a variety of indoor and outdoor seating that meet ADA requirements.

The Gathering Place has accessible water fountains located throughout the Park. All of our dining areas have wheelchair accessible counters and seating available. For guests with special dietary needs, we offer a variety of allergy friendly options throughout the Park.

Parking

ADA parking is available in all five of our parking lots and near main attractions. Drop off areas are also conveniently located near Williams Lodge and ONEOK Boathouse. There will also be additional ADA parking in our overflow lots with shuttle transportation.

Restrooms

All restrooms areas have facilities with access to guests using wheelchairs.  They are marked with a wheelchair symbol.  Companion assisted restrooms are located at the following locations:

            Williams Lodge (Lower Level)

ONEOK Boathouse (Second and Third Level)

            Chapman Foundation Adventure Playground

            SemGroup Sports Courts

Desensitization Spaces

Guests who are on the autism spectrum can utilize spaces provided in the Park to overcome sensory anxieties.  These spaces are available at Guest Services in the Lodge and in the restroom located on the north side of the facilities at Adventure Playground.
