Every third Sunday of the month, spend your day strolling through the Park as you learn about nature and explore the many ecosystems that call Gathering Place their home at Sunday Family Nature Walk!
Join Margaritte Arthrell-Knezek of Under the Canopy at this month’s Sunday Family Nature Walk to learn about the life of plants and animals in the winter season. What plants stay green all winter? What trees lose their leaves? What animals live in the park and what do they eat? At Sunday Family Nature Walk on December 15, get answers to these questions and more. We will take a walk around Sky Garden to touch, see, smell and taste some of the fresh botanicals growing in this enchanting place. We will go on a leaf scavenger hunt and take the inspiration back to ONEOK Boathouse for a fun, leaf rubbing activity. Sunday Family Nature Walks are free and open for all ages!
Sunday Family Nature Walks begin and end at ONEOK Boathouse, with two separate walk times available at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
