Gathering Place is partnering with the Greenwood Art Project to celebrate Black History Month with “Black Creators”- highlighting local African American musicians, artists, dancers, educators, and vendors. “Black Creators” is a free event, featuring a collective group of performances that aim to inspire excellence, as well as educate the community about the history of Black achievement from Tulsans.

“Black Creators – Celebration of Black History in Tulsa” is Saturday, February 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Gathering Place. Don’t miss a variety of local artists showcase their talents on the Gather Round Stage and in the Parlor Room of Williams Lodge, and be sure to grab a bite to eat from local food trucks! In addition, the GAP Van classroom will also be offering 20-minute pop-up presentations about the history of the Greenwood District outside near The Patio.

Masks are required inside buildings. Park guests are strongly encouraged to wear masks at outdoor events and practice social distancing.
