Gathering Place will celebrate the vibrancy of the Tulsa community at Global Gatherings, a 13-week program highlighting various cultures and regions of the world. Every Friday in May, June, and July from 10 a.m. to noon in ONEOK Boathouse, families will be immersed in a new region of the world and learn about different cultures through hands-on activities, art, storytelling, dance, music, and more. Global Gatherings will be facilitated by members of the Tulsa community who are eager to share their culture with others. 

Join us on Friday, May 5 to celebrate the cultures of Southeast Asia! Enjoy live performances by a Hmong singer, Zomi Innkuan of Oklahoma, Kripalaya Dance Academy, the ORU Myanmar Student Association, and the KAAJHUAB dance group. Plus, learn about traditional makeup used in Myanmar, enjoy free food samples from Manila Ice, and participate in hands-on activities that include Hmong paper dolls, lucky red envelopes with News on 6 anchor Chinh Doan, Filipino paper weaving, and games!
