Gathering Place will celebrate the vibrancy of the Tulsa community at Global Gatherings, a 13-week program highlighting various cultures and regions of the world. Every Friday in May, June, and July from 10 a.m. to noon in ONEOK Boathouse, families will be immersed in a new region of the world and learn about different cultures through hands-on activities, art, storytelling, dance, music, and more. Global Gatherings will be facilitated by members of the Tulsa community who are eager to share their culture with others. 

Join us on Friday, May 19 to celebrate the cultures of South America! Enjoy live performances by Bossa, DJ Klave, and dancers from Allstar Ballroom Dance Company. Learn the basics of Latin rhythm through interactive drumming and dance demonstrations. Plus, enjoy free food samples from Cupcakes by Lu, Matea's Kitchen, and Mar del Plata, and participate in hands-on art activities by artists F. Thompson, Jacquelyn Riggs, and Zadith Rodriguez!
