Reading Tree

Gather And Read

Inspired by the oldest and largest cottonwood tree at Gathering Place, The Reading Tree Challenge unites Tulsa County in our common love of reading. With a goal of reading two million books before the Park opens, the program provides educators and families with activities, resources and an online book log to inspire children to find adventures inside a book. While our activities and resources are tailored for children in kindergarten through 3rd grade, the Challenge is open to children of all ages. With teachers, educators and families working together, we can inspire the next generation to marvel at the worlds that await them from page to page.

To learn more, go to The Reading Tree Challenge website and help us read two million books!
