Know Before You Go

Gathering Place has officially been voted USA Today’s Best New Attraction! Come experience what makes Tulsa’s Riverfront destination the best attraction in the country and with no admission fee! Here's what you should know before you visit the Park! 

 

How am I going to get to the Park?

The park's address is 2650 S John Williams Way E Tulsa, OK 74114. There are multiple ways to access the park:

1) Free Shuttles

Additional parking with free shuttles is available on the west side of the Arkansas River near the 21st street bridge. View our SHUTTLE MAP for more details. 

Shuttles are available every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. except for the following dates:

  • 7/4- Folds of Honor FreedomFest 
  • 9/2 - Great Raft Race
  • 9/7- GoldRush 5K and Celebration 
  • 9/14 & 9/15 - Mexico Independence Day Festival

2) Use Public Transportation

Guests attending the Park can conveniently utilize the Tulsa Transit Bus Route #105. Visit TulsaTransit.org for route details.

3) Walk or Bike

Walk-in gates are located at the north and south ends of the Park and can be accessed through the River Parks trails. There is also an entrance on the East side of the Park which can be accessed through the Midland Valley trail. Guests who wish to bike to Gathering Place will find bike racks outside the Main Spectator Entrance. 

4) Use a Rideshare Program

For our guests’ convenience, we have a designated lot at the Skate Park where rideshare drivers can drop off and pick up their passengers.

5) Drive

There are parking lots conveniently located near the Boathouse and Lodge, as well as lots adjacent to Riverside Drive on both north and southbound lanes. There are two overflow parking lots available at the corner of 31st and Riverside and just south along the Northbound lanes of Riverside Drive.

Can I bring food & water with me?

Yes, parkgoers are welcome to bring outside food with them, however, no glass bottles, outside grills or outside alcohol are allowed on the premises. 

During standard operating hours, there are a variety of food options available for purchase. The Lodge Patio provides outdoor quick-service food items. The Lodge's Redbud Café features local blend coffee, ice cream and candy. There will also be grab and go food carts throughout the Park. Each restaurant will have kid-friendly menus, as well as options for vegetarian and vegan guests.

There are also multiple water fountains and refillable bottle stations placed throughout the Park.


What are the park hours?

The Park is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. but attractions and buildings may have separate hours. Hours are subject to change seasonally and/or by event.

  • Chapman Adventure Playground is open from 9 a.m. to dusk.


The FOLLOWING items are prohibited in the Park:
  • Glass bottles

  • Outside grills

  • Outside alcohol

  • Open or concealed carry of guns, knives, or other weapons

  • Drones and other radio-controlled equipment

  • Amplified sound devices
